GALLERY: Open House sees thousands visit 4 Wing
Thousands of students and civilians visited 4 Wing Cold Lake for their public Open House, learning all aspects of the base’s operations.
Three CF-18 jets were there to be oogled, but that was just one of 40 tents or booths set up at the Medley Passenger Terminal on Wednesday.
Students could learn about engineering aspect, look at equipment, hold model weapons, with some booths having more hands-on demonstrations.
This kicked off days of RCAF 100th anniversary celebrations in Cold Lake, with the Freedom of the City parade on Thursday morning, and a Wellness Walk/Fun Run on Friday morning.
