On May 4, 2024, Mrs. Alice Balash of Calgary formerly of Myrnam, Alberta, passed away at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Dwayne) Giggs; son, Charles; granddaughter, Samantha Giggs; 2 sisters, Katherine Dahl & Ann Godziuk; sisters-in-law, Mary Yacey, Gloria Hladunewich, Betty Langkow & Lorraine Balash; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Balash was predeceased by her husband, Walter; parents, Theodore & Helen Yawin. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Myrnam.
