In Loving Memory: Carrie Laurie – Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel

On April 28, 2024, Carrie Laurie of Fork Lake, Alberta passed away peacefully at her lake home where her heart will always remain with her family & friends, at the age of 67 years. She is survived her daughter, Christy Schoneck (Drew Comer); grandchildren, Charlee & Sean; cat, GK & dog, Daisy; 2 brothers & 3 sisters, Ron Mulick (Brian), Terra Boychuk (Leo), Cindy Hills (Alvin) Darrell Laurie (Lek) & Melissa Laurie (Tom); numerous nieces, nephews, aunties & cousins. Carrie came from a very large family who all held a special place in her heart. Carrie was predeceased by her daughter, Cyla Schoneck; parents, Angus & Laurette Laurie; nephew, Keifer Collins. A special thank you to Colette Hills, Claudette Vallee, Wendy Pittman & Auntie Diane for all you did to help; and to Alvin Kumpula for being her best buddy in these past few years. Also thank you to her work, cook connections, and all of the children that were such a big part of her life. Cremation has taken place. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 28 at 12:00 p.m. at Fork Lake Cemetery, Rich Lake.
