No on-site physician at ED for select times at William J. Cadzow – Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre
Lac La Biche residents looking for a doctor in an emergency at times next week could be out of luck.
AHS says there no physician on site in the emergency department at the William J. Cadzow – Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre for the following times:
- 4 pm, Sunday, April 14 to 8 am, Monday, April 15
- 8 am, Wednesday, April 17 to 8 am, Thursday, April 18
- 8 am, Monday, April 22 to 5 pm, Monday, April 22
Nursing staff will remain on site in the emergency department providing triage, assessments, and referrals for patients to alternate emergency departments. This closure may not occur if coverage is secured.
