On March 5, 2024 Mrs. Joette Podloski of Stry, Alberta passed away at the age of 79 years. She is survived by 2 sons, Perry (Sandy) & John (Sandy); daughter, Trina (Willie) Hladchuk; 6 grandchildren, Jordan (Tracy), Kimberly (Lyle), Chance, Jayson , Dylan (Cheyenne) & Kurtlin; 5 great-grandchildren, Sadie, Addy, Macy Jo, Lane & Ava; sister, Janice Tews; half-brother, Terry Scott; special niece, Lori Stokes; numerous nieces & nephews. Joette was predeceased by her husband, Walter; parents, Joe & Emma Schurek; brother, Lloyd (Victoria); & brother-in-law, Reg Tews. Visitation of Family & Friends will be held on Sunday, March 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry.
