With cherished memories for a life well lived, the family of Marion Ann Strasser of Cold Lake, Alberta is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the age of 79 years.
Marion is survived by her loving husband: Joe Strasser; son: Ron Strasser; daughters: Colleen Northam (Darren), Cindy Bockanesky; grandchildren: Stephen (Adrienne), Chris (Sam), Matthew (Adriel), Melissa (Adam), Amanda (Sami), Coleman (Mandy), Andrew (Kittie), Kassy, Breanna (Mike), Isabella, Joseph, Tracie (Cole); treasured great grandchildren: Bentley, Sylus, Jensen, Ryker, Emma, Alexis, Keaton, Zachary, Austin, Keili, Melody, Kerrigan, Cyrilla, Braxton.
Marion was predeceased by her parents: Oscar & Annie Coleman; parents-in-law: Joseph & Mildred Strasser; brother: Alan Coleman; nephews: Trent Strasser, Trevor Strasser.
Funeral Service, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., Cold Lake Community Church, Cold Lake, AB with Pastor Hayward Eastman officiating. Pallbearers: Stephen Strasser, Chris Northam, Matthew Strasser, Coleman Strasser, Andrew Strasser, Mike Bacon. Final Resting Place, Grand Centre Memorial Park, Cold Lake, AB.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Samuel Ubabukoh, a.k.a. “Dr. Sam”, and the 3rd floor nurses at the Cold Lake Health Centre for their compassionate care.
