The wonderful season of Luka Sukovic continues to earn himself more accolades.

Just a day after being named Player of the Week, the league’s leading point scorer was named Ford Dealer’s AJHL Player of the Month.

Through 10 games, Sukovic recorded 15 points, 7 goals and 8 assists.

Some of his highlights through January includes putting together his first career hat-trick at Camrose, and a four assist period at Fort McMurray.

The 2023-24 campaign has been an MVP caliber season for the Chicago area native.

Sukovic was acquired mid-season the previous year from the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks of the NAHL, and registered 13 points in 31 games.

He already has 48 more points this season, with 32 goals and 61 points, and will be going to Clarkson University after this year concludes.

He is one of 22 players all-time in franchise history to reach the 30-goal plateau in a single-season.

With the exit of five teams to the BCHL, Sukovic has a legitimate case to win some major hardware at the end of the season.
