On Jan. 30, 2024, at 5:16 p.m., Cold Lake RCMP were dispatched to a single vehicle collision on Highway 28 entering Cold Lake. Upon arrival, emergency responders located a single vehicle with one unresponsive male occupant. Despite life saving measures, the 47-year-old, Cold Lake resident was declared deceased on scene.
After preliminary investigation, it is believed the deceased suffered a major health event, resulting in a collision.
