In Loving Memory: Milton “Milty” Romanchuk – Memento Funeral Chapel

After a courageous battle with Dementia and Pneumonia, Milton “Milty” Romanchuk of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the age of 66 years.

Milton is survived by his loving brothers: Don (Iris) of St Albert, AB and Gene (Judy) of Kelowna, B.C.; brother-in-law: Jamie MacKeage of Edmonton, AB; along with a nephew: Trevor (Carol) and two nieces: Cielle and Lynette (Calvin); and numerous family members & friends.

Milton was predeceased by his parents: Steve and Mary Romanchuk; and sister: Violet MacKeage.

Milton called Bonnyville, Alberta home for the past 50 years, where he embraced the Town as they did him. He was a very social and friendly person & loved life.

He was very involved with the Town Sports Teams, namely Softball and the Hockey Team.

Public Visitation, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB.

Celebration of Life, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating.

Committal Service, Thursday, January 25, 2024, St. Elias Orthodox Church, Pakan (Smoky Lake) AB with Father Vitalie Manoli officiating, with interment to follow at St. Elias Orthodox Cemetery, Pakan.

Milton’s family would like to thank the Nurses, Doctors and Staff at both Extendicare and the Bonnyville Health Centre for their compassionate care, and also Shauna Langer, Milton’s caregiver and companion for her great work and continuous visits over the years.
