JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining current records on receivables, payables, payroll, and sales; preparing payroll; corresponding with customers, wholesalers and/or manufacturers; billing and collecting in-store accounts; preparing provincial and federal tax forms; and performing related duties as may be assigned. The Bookkeeper must perform all assigned tasks with sufficient speed and accuracy to support a high level of customer service and maintain the company’s cash flow and credit rating.

Duties include:
  • Tabulate Daily Sales
  • File store records such as invoices, contracts and orders.
  • Pay Bills and invoices according to a payment schedule
  • Prepare monthly statements and mail to customers
  • Prepare Payroll
  • Enter financial Figures
  • Prepare forms
  • Make Bank Deposits
  • Plus various other duties
Job Types: Temporary, Full-time
Contract length: 18 months
