“This is an excellent example of RCMP members working with community members to achieve a common goal. The goal of course is holding our offenders accountable for their actions and increase public safety,” said Sgt Corey Buckingham of Vermilion RCMP. “Most of the work we do as police officers is very dynamic in nature, this is a great example of our members ability to think on their feet and investigate in a safe manner resulting in a positive outcome.”
