Jr. Canadiens take 11 game win streak into home weekend

The Canadiens won 6-1, then beat the Lloyd Bandits 7-1 the following night.
Make it 11 straight wins for the St. Paul Canadiens, who top the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League, ahead of a monumental test on Saturday night.
Spearheaded by the offensive prowess of newcomer Quinn Spzak and his league-leading 42 points, the ‘Yens have scored 111 goals in 17 games and surrendered just 30.
The Clancy Richard Arena plays host to a pair of games this weekend.
Tonight, St. Paul welcomes Onion Lake. The Border Chiefs have had a difficult season, and are still searching for their first win after a dozen games.
Then, it’s a rematch of the NEAJBHL Final on Saturday night. The Wainwright Bisons, who have three games in hand on the Canadiens, and would be tied with St. Paul if they won all of them, will roll in for a 8:00pm puckdrop.
The season-series is split heading into the third head-to-head matchup.
The Bisons won at home 6-1 back on Oct. 14. The Canadiens replied with a home victory themselves 3-1 on Nov. 10.
