Bonnyville RCMP respond to 9 B&E’s, 5 stolen vehicle investigations over week

From Nov. 24 to Dec. 1, the Bonnyville RCMP have seen a rash of break and enter and stolen vehicles in the detachment area.

BREAK & ENTERS:

  • November 25th at 11:15 pm into a condo building where suspects gained access to several common areas and broke into locked storage room and stole nine firearms (rifles and shotguns)
  • Overnight November 27th at a garage on the 4000 block of 40 Street. Garage tools were stolen.
  • November 27th overnight into a garage on the 4000 block of 41st Avenue.  Tools stolen and damage to garage and a vehicle.
  • November 29th at 5:00am at a garage on the 4100 block of 40 Avenue.
  • November 29th overnight into a garage on the 4800 block of 50 Street.
  • November 30th at 9:00am into outbuildings on a rural property on Township Road 622 near Range Road 463.
  • November 30th at 3:30 am into an outbuilding of a school in town.
  • Overnight November 30th into a garage on the 4300 block of 48th Avenue. An iPod Classic and other miscellaneous items were stolen.
  • December 1st at 1:00 am into a garage on the 4000 block of 43A Avenue. Damage caused to garage and bank card stolen from victim.

Anyone with information on any of these Break and Enters is encouraged to contact the Bonnyville RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

STOLEN VEHICLES:

Two of the five stolen vehicles either had the keys left in them, were left idling, were unlocked, or all of the aforementioned, the RCMP says. One has since been recovered.

The Bonnyville RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for and call the RCMP if they spot the following vehicles:

  • 2009 grey Honda Civic possibly bearing licence plate CPW 3078, stolen from the 5300 block of 51 Street.
  • 2002 white Chevrolet Silverado possibly bearing licence plate CJK 0929, stolen from the 5000 block of 51 Avenue.
  • 2008 white Ford F150 possibly bearing licence plate CMS 2636, stolen from the 4000 block of Lakeshore Drive.
  • 2004 silver GMC Sierra possibly bearing licence plate CJZ9214, stolen from a residence on Range Road 455 near Township Road 621.
