The family of Leonard Steve Niedermaier of Pierceland, Saskatchewan is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the age of 70 years.
Leonard is lovingly survived by his wife of 51 years: Colleen Niedermaier; children: Darcy (Rhonda) Niedermaier, Daryl (Jolene) Niedermaier, Tracy (Jodie) Lodoen; grandchildren: Dylan (Brynn) Niedermaier, Dante (Tyler) Niedermaier, Tyler (Kate) Niedermaier, Kyle (Ella) Niedermaier, Erin Niedermaier, Zana Lodoen, Jerri (Josh) Stoebich, Gracie (Steven) Lodoen; cherished great grandson: Wheeler Stoebich; brother: Rupert Niedermaier; sisters: Rose Gelowitz, Eileen (Wes) McRae; as well as numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Leonard was predeceased by his parents: Rupert & Katherine Niedermaier; parents-in-law: Matthias & Verna Gelowitz; brother: Hans Niedermaier; grandson: Taylor Niedermaier.
Prayer Service, Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Saskatchewan time (6:00 p.m. Alberta time), St. Antoninus Roman Catholic Church, Pierceland, Saskatchewan.
Funeral Service, Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Saskatchewan time (10:00 a.m. Alberta time), St. Antoninus Roman Catholic Church, Pierceland, Saskatchewan with Father Dong Doan officiating. Urn bearer: Darcy Niedermaier; honorary urn bearers: grandchildren and great-grandson. Final Resting Place, St. Antoninus Roman Catholic Cemetery, Pierceland, Saskatchewan.
