On November 25, 2023, Mr. Dennis Wanchuk of Vilna, born in Boyne Lake, passed away at the age of 73 years.  He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lenny; children, Tracy (Robert) McKay, Candace (Trevor) Downham & Darren (Amber) Wanchuk; 3 grandchildren, Dakota (Lindsey) Downham, Anika Downham & Leyland Downham; great-grandson, Colson Downham; siblings, Rick (Joan), Carolyn (Kenny) Kwiatkowski, Larry (Anna), Dwayne (Karen), Robert (Karen), Roberta (Dwight) Etherington, Terri (Terry) Yaceyko, Bonnie (Faron) Steffen, Tony (Sharon) Wanchuk & Garry Wanchuk; brother-in-law, Wilbur Davie; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & -nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, John & Mary Wanchuk; 3 sisters, Patsy (Ken) Robinson, Vivian Davie & Joanne Trieber; very special niece, Becky Burgess. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agri-Plex, Ashmont. Rt. Reverend Protopresbyter John Lipinski will be officiating with interment in Sts.
