Smoky Lake RCMP investigate fatal collision of 34-year-old
A 34-year-old has died as a result of his injuries.
On Saturday, Sept. 23, at 8:02 a.m., Smoky Lake RCMP were dispatched to the scene of single vehicle rollover north of Township Road 602 on Secondary Highway 831.
The 34-year-old male driver and lone occupant, a resident of Goodfish Lake, was injured and trapped in the vehicle. He was extracted by the local Fire Department, however, succumbed to his injuries soon after and was declared deceased at the scene, Smoky Lake RCMP said.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
