Fall Fair and BBQ Bash coming to Ag Grounds
Autumn is the kickoff to a lot of new beginnings, school, sports — but the Bonnyville Ag Society will be celebrating rodeos and racing one more time this weekend.
The Fall Fair is this Saturday and Sunday at the Bonnyville Pro Rodeo grounds, a two day affair full of agricultural delights and entertainment.
Each day will see performances from the All Pro Canadian Chucks & Chariot Racing, plus the Indian Relay Racing presented by Kehewin Cree Nation to follow.
Saturday will also feature a Ranch Rodeo starting at noon and then a dance that night with the band Dirt Road Maniacs.
During the day from 10:00am-4:00pm patrons can peruse the Farmers’ Market Extravaganza and make some buys.
For the kids, there are also children’s games, wagon and pony rides, face painting, and concession and food trucks.
The Town is also holding one of its new events out at the grounds on Saturday. It’s the second Bonnyville BBQ Bash, where eleven meat smokers and pitmasters will be judged to see who’s the best of them all.
It’s $10 a day to go and enjoy.
