RCMP Major Crimes Unit have launched an investigation after finding a dead body.
On Monday, Sept. 4, Lac La Biche RCMP say they were following up with a wellbeing check, which led police to a specific location that they did not disclose in further information on Tuesday.
With the assistance of the Emergency Response Team, officers attended and located a deceased male in a residence.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit have taken carriage of the investigation and an autopsy will be done to determine the manner of death.
