Man found with meth & cocaine charged with drug trafficking
Bonnyville RCMP have laid charges on a Cold Lake man after being found with drugs.
On Monday, Sept. 4, police stopped a vehicle on Highway 660 where they soon discovered drugs and money in the vehicle.
The driver was subsequently arrested.
A search of the vehicle as part of the investigation led RCMP to more suspected meth and crack cocaine, as well as a quantity of Canadian currency.
Kyle Roth, 38, a resident of Cold Lake, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtain by crime
After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Roth was released on cash bail to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Bonnyville on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
