Bonnyville RCMP report from Aug. 25 to Sept. 1
Bonnyville RCMP were involved in 183 investigations between August 25th and September 1st.
On August 28th at 5:00 PM Bonnyville RCMP received a report a male in a grocery store parking lot trying door handles, panhandling, and disturbing customers. Members attended and found the suspect who was intoxicated.
The 36 year old male from Bonnyville was arrested and held in custody until he was sober. Upon his release he was issued a violation ticket under the Gaming Liquor & Cannabis Act.
On August 29th at 8:30 PM the Bonnyville RCMP were called to tend to an intoxicated male passed out on the ground outside a local convenience store.
Members attended and arrested the 70 year old male from Kehewin and held him until sober. When released he was issued a violation ticket under the Gaming Liquor & Cannabis Act.
On August 30th at 1:30 AM Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a local hotel where the staff were reporting an intoxicated male had passed out in front of the hotel. A member attended, located the male and arrested him.
He remained in custody until sober and the 32 year old male from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan was issued a violation ticket under the Gaming Liquor & Cannabis Act upon his release.
On August 30th just after midnight Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Kehewin for a violent fight involving stabbing between two males known to each other.
RCMP attended and tended to both males who were transported to different hospitals where they were both treated for their injuries and released. The matter is still under investigation and charges are pending against both males.
