Feast at the Beach festival set to begin
Food, music, and beer, that’s all on the cards at Feast on the Beach.
The Cold Lake Chamber of Commerce is back with its annual food truck at Kinosoo Beach with live entertainment and a beer gardens for Friday and Saturday.
This year includes fireworks on Saturday night, an added features to the festivities.
“Feast at the Beach is a food truck and music festival, a free community event can just come on down and enjoy the music,” said executive director Sherri Buckle. “If you choose to tend to the food trucks, you can do that. If you don’t just enjoy the entertainment, the KidZone and all the music. We have our beer gardens going on.”
Duane Steel is headlining the event on Friday and Chris Buck will close the show on Saturday night.
Whether it’s donair, poutine, hot dogs, ice cream or mini doughnuts you’re after, there’s several food trucks to patron.
It is a cashless event, but they are accepting debit, credit, or feast cards.
Rain or shine, the festivities will carry on.
There are bus routes that will help transport people to the beach, free of charge.
It runs from 2:00-7:00pm on Friday and from 11:00am-7:00pm on Saturday.
