The biggest week of events in St. Paul is here.

The Lakeland Rodeo Association Finals comes around every year to St. Paul as the community gets up for a special coming together and goodbye to summer.

Combined with the rodeo action at the Clancy Richard Arena is a series of barbeques, breakfasts, and activities.

On Saturday morning, the community gets together for the big parade.

“The week is full of events. I cannot even get into the week without acknowledging the volunteers that pull this off. Our community is the recipient of an amazing opportunity to showcase. But this is probably the biggest volunteer event that our community puts on,” said Mayor Maureen Miller.

“Everyone of those suppers, the breakfasts that are happening throughout the community, alongside the rodeo, is all going to not for profits within our community. So get out and support them. They need those funds and this is their biggest sometimes their biggest kick into making sure that that not for profits survives or offers more opportunities.”

The festivities began last weekend with the Chamber of Commerce’s supper and the Ranch Rodeo on Sunday.

There is lots to see, do, eat and drink this week.

From the Walk A Mile in Her Shoes campaign to raise awareness against domestic violence, the Love Local Market, the Cornerstone Co-op Car Show, or the Beerfest and dance on Saturday night — St. Paul will be a happening place.

This the 34th year St. Paul Ag Society plays host to the LRA Finals.
