On August 2, 2023, Irene Dion of Kehewin passed away at the age of 68 years.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Kathleen (Nick) & Penny (Steven); son, David (Stephanie); 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters & 3 brothers, Rose (Wayne), William (Betsy), Gilbert (Cindy), Sheila (Clifford), Geraldine, Peter (Noreen) & Colleen (Elton); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.  Irene was predeceased by her children, Theodore & Delores; 2 great-grandchildren; partner, Gary; parents, Peter & Victoria; sister, Ernestine; 3 brothers, Henry, Albert & George.  A Wake will be held on Monday (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) & Tuesday, August 21 & 22 at the Old School Gym, Kehewin.  A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the Old School Gym, Kehewin.  Reverend Father Rene Realuyo will be officiating, with interment in Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kehewin.  To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
