In Loving Memory: Craig Auger – Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel

On July 8, 2023 Mr. Craig Henry Auger of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 52 years.  He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Carrie Powder; 2 grandchildren, Jemma & Kayana Kasokeo; adopted mother, Marguerite Auger; sister, Melody Goodstriker; adopted sister, Christina Auger; adopted Brertton Family; special aunties, Sheila, Cheryl & Marie Cardinal, & Matilda Brertton; uncles, Buddy Cardinal & Brian Brertton; loving niece, Aura Cardinal; numerous other aunties, uncles & cousins.   Craig was predeceased by his daughter, Julia Kasokeo; adopted father, Lloyd Auger; biological parents, Audrey Cardinal & Tony Brertton; biological grandparents, Philomene & James Henry Cardinal, William & Matilda Brertton; uncles & aunties, Ronnie, Joseph, Patricia, Gary, Alphonse Stewart & Rita Cardinal, Lindsay, Emile, Bertha & Bella Brertton; cousins, Phyllis, Randal, Timothy & infant baby cousin; & his late best friend, Stoney Whiskeyjack.  Craig Auger was a singer and dancer in his youth & young adulthood.  He was loved by many for his sense of humor and his kindness.  He would help anyone who needed his help, and always with a smile.  Craig traveled to many places to dance and sing.  He went to Japan, Austria & all over North America to share his gift of song and dance.  He will be forever missed by his loving family and friends.  A Wake will be held on Tuesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.) & Wednesday, August 15 & 16 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.  Reverend Father Michael Ngo will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.  To send condolences online, please visit www.gracegardensfuneralchapel.com.
