Bonnyville RCMP have three reports of business break & enters
Bonnyville RCMP saw three business break and enters within the last week.
Sometime overnight on Monday, June 19, a local business compound located on the 6000 block of 52 Ave was broken into., police say.
There may have been more than one culprit, the RCMP aren’t sure at this point. Multiple cuts were made in the perimeter fence as well as the inner secured area.
The next day on Tuesday, 20th at 11:15pm a member of the Bonnyville RCMP was conducting a proactive patrol in the 4900 block of 51 Street and came upon a Break & Enter in progress at a business compound. Again, the culprit had cut the fence to gain access. When they saw police, the suspect fled on foot, RCMP said.
The old post office on Main Street had an attempted break-in as well. On Thursday, June 22 at 7:45pm, the Bonnyville RCMP were dispatched to a break & enter in progress at that location. The culprits fled moments before RCMP arrived, police say.
