He is survived by his loving wife, Irene McGilvery; son, Tyrone Gladue; daughter, Chrissy Steinhauer (Dusty McGilvery); adopted children, Patricia Norwest (Wesley), Tyoine McGilvery, Cheryl & Harrison Shirt & Wayne McGilvery; brother-in-law, Ferlin McGilvery; sister-in-law Lorna (Leonard) McGilvery; sister, Charlotte Large; 3 brothers, Robert, Joe (Olive) & Arthur (Verna); sister-in-law, Jenny McGilvery; special nephews, Patrick “niwîcewâkan” & Morten “niciwams”; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Henry was predeceased by his sons, Stacey & Carl; stepsons, Darren, Merl & Jonathon McGilvery; stepdaughter, Alison McGilvery; parents, John & Mary; brothers, Donald, Wilfred, Floyd, Jerry, Raymond, Morton, Carl & Dwayne; brother-in-law, Fabian Large.
A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Sunday, May 6 & 7 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Pastor Mavis Giant will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
