M.D. residents near wildfire blaze being told to prepare
M.D. residents near Cold Lake First Nations are being asked to prepare in case they need to evacuate.
An update was provided at around 9:00pm that residents in the Wildfire Standby Evacuation Zone should prepare to evacuate within the next two to 24 hours.
An evacuation order was issued at 6:22pm for an afternoon blaze in the southeast of Cold Lake First Nations.
Lakeland Connect is reporting that it is believed three houses have been lost in the fire so far.
Residents in the areas south of Township Road 614 and up to Range Road 24 in Cold Lake First Nation have been ordered to evacuate to the Dene Hotel.
