UPDATE 6:22pm: Alberta Emergency Management Agency has issued an official evacuation order. This alert is in effect for everyone south of Township Road 614 and up to Range Road 24 in Cold Lake First Nation.

There is a wildfire on the southeast side of the Nation, between Highway 897 and Range Road 24. The fire is moving west toward Range Road 24. One home has already been lost.

Everyone south of Township Road 614 and up to Range Road 24 in Cold Lake First Nation must evacuate now. Go to the Dene Hotel and Conference Centre on Highway 28 and Range Road 423. If you need help evacuating call 780-545-3332. For more info, go to clfns.com

Cold Lake First Nations residents are being urged to immediately evacuate the southside of the community as a large fire is currently burning.

This is in the southeast section of 149 and is burning east to west, says CLFN officials.

Those are evacuating are to gather at the Casino Dene parking lot.
