Cold Lake RCMP arrest man on outstanding warrants, found with gun
A Cold Lake man with outstanding warrants was arrested by RCMP on Sunday.
Cold Lake RCMP said on Sunday afternoon just before 2:30pm, that they received information that a known male was in possession of a gun on Cold Lake First Nation.
Members went and found the male who was arrested without incident. Police said he was wanted on outstanding warrants and a firearm was located inside the residence.
Nathan Desjardin, 33, from Cold Lake, was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, unsafe storage, possession of a firearm when knowing possession was unauthorized, and fail to comply with conditions of a release order.
Desjardin was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody.
