In Loving Memory: John Norman Janvier – Northern Lights Funeral Chapel

On Tuesday, February 21, 2023 Mr. John N. A. Janvier (Papa John) of Cold Lake First Nations, passed away at his home at the age of 84 years.

John is survived by his loving family; his special friend, Rebecca (Sonia) Janvier; children, Ferres Janvier, Heather Janvier (Josh Erminskin), Tiffany Janvier, April Janvier (Lee Perreault-Jacob), Jody Janvier-Bernard (Trever Bernard) Jesse Janvier, Brandon Janvier; special children, Aaron Janvier (Chelekwi), Coline Chief Body, Joseph Anderson; grandchildren, Delema, Alexander, Lovina, Mary, Rebecca, Adessa, Tessa, Jesse, Brayden, Jayden, Lee Jr., Aalyah, Travis, Jyoti, Jesse, Neeson, Jackson; siblings, Alex (Jacqueline) Janvier, Elsie Winnipeg; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family (Papa John had and loved all of his adopted children) and dear friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Harry & Marie Janvier; siblings, Francis, Caroline, Delima, Bernadette, Scholastique, Paul, and Veronica.
