Cold Lake RCMP arrest three after police pursuit of stolen vehicle

Three people are facing charges after being found with a stolen vehicle.

Cold Lake RCMP received a complaint of a vehicle involved in a home invasion from Feb. 5 in Cold Lake and an assault with a weapon complaint.

The vehicle was later found in Cold Lake and fled from members. Police said they pursued the vehicle and were able to successfully spike belt the tires. The vehicle was finally stopped at a rural residence near La Corey. 

Police discovered the vehicle had been stolen from Lamont County.

Bob White, 46, was remanded into custody by police. He faces charges of possession of stolen property over $5000, flight from police, operate while prohibited, two counts of fail to comply with release order, two counts of endangering life, and other charges.  

Corey Whiskeyjack, 43, of Ardmore, and Jason Nunweiler, 47, of Cold Lake, were both charged with possession of stolen property over $5000. They both were released on court compelling documents. 

No charges have been laid as part of the Feb. 5 home invasion.
