With much love and grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Peter Karasiuk of Bonnyville, Alberta is deeply saddened to announce his peaceful passing on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the age of 88 years.

Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years: Elsie Karasiuk of Bonnyville, AB; son: James (Karen) Karasiuk of Bonnyville, AB; two grandchildren: Samantha Karasiuk (Tim Symon) of LaCorey, AB, Jessica Karasiuk (Matthew Choquette) of Ardmore, AB; 3 cherished great grandchildren: Anja, Liam & Emma Symon; 2 brothers: Harry (Maria) Karasiuk of Edmonton, AB, Fred (Carol) Karasiuk of Edmonton, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Peter was predeceased by his parents: Bill & Matrona Karasiuk; 3 brothers: John Karasiuk, Steve Karasiuk, Stanley Karasiuk; sister: Joanne Blomquist; brother-in-law: Marvin Blomquist; sister-in-law: Dorothy Karasiuk; nephew: Russell Karasiuk; niece: Alicia Karasiuk.

Funeral Service, Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bonnyville, AB with Father Peter Haugen officiating. Pallbearers: Matthew Choquette, Tim Symon, Ben Volorney, Raymond Karasiuk, Terry Karasiuk, Glen Neuman. Final Resting Place, St. Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Sandy Rapids, AB.
