On January 2, 2023, Mr. Kirk Steinhauer of Calgary, formerly of Saddle Lake, passed away at the age of 61 years.

He is survived by 2 sons & 3 daughters, Crystal Plaitedhair, Tracy Gambler (Victor), Anthony (Frankie) Gambler, Owen (Anna) Eli & Britany Cardinal (Jason Saddleback); numerous grandchildren; loving mother, Paula Bird-Steinhauer; 2 brothers & 3 sisters, Seana Steinhauer (Virgil), Trina Steinhauer, Henry Ross (Michelle) Steinhauer, Gordon Steinhauer & Bobby Ray Steinhauer; Godmother, Monica; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Kirk was predeceased by his daughter, Kirsten Steinhauer; granddaughter, Destiny, father, Henry Steinhauer; 3 brothers, Kevin, Curtis & Bradley; sister, Deana; maternal grandparents, Gordon & Louise Bird; paternal grandparents, William & Justine Steinhauer; Godfather, Brent.

A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Sunday, January 14 & 15 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Jerish will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
