It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother & baba, Kathleen Kuryliw of Smoky Lake, formerly of Vilna on December 25, 2022 at the age of 100 years & 6 months.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Marlaine (Larry) Pidluzny & Roseanne (Ken) Garner; 4 grandchildren, Dale Pidluzny, Billy Joe (Shelly) Kuryliw, Anne Marie (Al) DerFong & Dylan Garner; 6 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Avah, Colton, Skye, Danica & Austin; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Talon, Hudson, Easton, Zoey & Xida; sister-in-law, Charlotte Zukowsky of B.C.; brother-in-law, Percy Grubb of Fort Worth, Texas.

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Bill Kuryliw (1987); son, Billy James Kuryliw (2020); parents, Angelina & Gawreko Zukowsky; 4 brothers, Bill, Nick, John & Mike; 10 sisters, Rosie, Mary, Katie, Annie, Laura, Sadie, Dorothea, Sophie, Pearl & Margaret; son-in-law, Dennis Pidluzny; 2 Godsons, Larry Wowk & Edd Wagil.

A Visitation for family & friends will be held on Sunday, January 8 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry. Very Reverend Father Don Bodnar will officiate with interment in the church cemetery.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Stephan Raubenheimer & Dr. Anton Raubenheimer for their care; all the staff at the Smoky Lake Auxillary for their care & compassion, especially in the past couple of weeks; as well as all the staff at Vilna Lodge where Mom had her home for the past 10 years.
