RCMP is warning the public of poor road conditions along Highway 881 north east of Lac La Biche.
Black ice and changing conditions are affecting visibility and surface traction on the road. Police recommend drivers to stay off the roadway at this time.
Highway 881 at Alpac Road near Township 695A, 50 km north east of Lac La Biche is blocked and impassable due to a multi-vehicle collision involving three semi trucks, trailers and two standard sized pickup trucks.
RCMP advise no serious injuries at this time, however will have traffic blocked in all directions for the next several hours while they investigate and work to clear the oversized equipment.
