On December 10, 2022, Miss Victoria Brighteyes of Saddle Lake passed away suddenly in her sleep at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her children, Debbie Potts-Brighteyes & Rocky (Amanda) Brighteyes; adopted daughter, Brenda Gladue; 14 grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Audrey Gadwa & Delia Steinhauer; brother-in-law, Arnold (Theresa) Steinhauer; the John & Gadwa families from Kehewin; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & special friends. Miss Brighteyes was predeceased by her husband, George Steinhauer; son, Harry Windy Brighteyes;2 grandsons, Timmy Jr. & Bryce; 2 granddaughters, Sheneen & Chasity; 2 sons-in-law, Timmy Rain & Clayton Potts; sisters, Theresa Gadwa, Bernadette Steinhauer & Rita Brighteyes; brother, Pierre Pasquayak; parents, Leo & Emma Brighteyes; numerous nieces & nephews. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) & Sunday, December 17 & 18 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
