The Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul constituency association said in a post on Monday night that they are taking 48 hours for the appeal process to go through.
It is believed the race between MLA David Hanson, Scott Cyr, and Greg Sawchuk, is close.
Elections began on Saturday in Bonnyville and concluded on Monday evening in St. Paul and Elk Point.
Although a result was anticipated on Monday night, the constituency association requires more time to announce a victor.
