On December 1, 2022, Vanessa Large of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 40 years.

She is survived by her children, Denzel (Tonia), Ethan, Conar (Isabelle), Shane Jr., Bethany & Dennis; 2 grandchildren, Zophia & Ella; loving mother, Charlotte; siblings, Diane (Marcus), Felissia, Nathan, Holly (Terence), Pamela, Donovan, Mary (Roberto) & Garett (Sara); grandmother, Nancy Waskewitch; numerous nieces & nephews.

Vanessa was predeceased by her dad, Fabian Large; maternal grandparents, John & Mary Steinhauer; paternal grandfather, Joseph Large; brother, Shawn Steinhauer; niece, Rosaleigh Jackson; numerous uncles; auntie, Doreen Steinhauer.

A Wake will be held on Tuesday, December 13 (leaving Grace Gardens at 10:00 a.m.) at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Reverend Father Michael Ngo will be officiating, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
