St. Paul man charged with break and enter in industrial park

A St. Paul man is facing charges of breaking and entering and mischief after an attempted theft in the industrial park of town.

St. Paul RCMP were conducting nightly patrols around 2:30am on Wednesday morning, when they received a report of a suspect breaking and entering in the industrial park.

Police responded quickly, finding and arresting the suspect, RCMP said. He was held for a judicial hearing.

Cormac Crawford, 25, of St. Paul was charged with two counts of breaking and entering a business with intent, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, possessing break-in instruments, and mischief under $5000 for property damages.

Following the judicial hearing, police said Cormac Crawford was released with conditions. He is set to appear before St. Paul Provincial Court on Jan. 5, 2023.
