Kitscoty RCMP charge male for property crimes

On Nov. 16, 2022, Kitscoty RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious truck on Spruce Hill Road. Upon arrival, a male was located inside the vehicle and investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen from Saskatoon, SK. It was further determined the male had stolen ID, a stolen credit card and was in possession of break-in tools.

As a result of the investigation, Travis Shutiak (29), no fixed address, was charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of stolen property over $5000
  • Possession of stolen property under $5000
  • Possession of break-in tools
  • Misuse of credit card

Shutiak was released from custody and will be appearing in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Jan. 17, 2023.
