Job Opportunity: Fountain Tire Bonnyville – Fully Licensed Red Seal Mechanic

Fountain Tire Bonnyville, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as Automotive Service Technician. Our ideal candidate would be an experienced Ford technician, but we can work with technicians from a variety of backgrounds.

Compensation : $45/hour plus a $2,000 bonus at the end of every year!!

Work Schedule: 5 day work week(8 hours per day) or 4 day work week (10 hours per day) – THREE DAYS OFF – Weekend work and Overtime available

Primary Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work orders
• Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
• Advise customers and customer-facing Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
• Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Pride in the work you’ve done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!

Working conditions:
• A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
• Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications:
• Registered Journeyman Automotive Service Technician- Red Seal Preferred
• A valid driver’s license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver’s abstract
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
• A team player who takes pride in their work
