St. Paul RCMP apprehends three suspects in stolen vehicle investigation
Three people are facing charges after a stolen vehicle investigation.
St. Paul RCMP received several reports, including some from Mallaig, about the location of a stolen vehicle.
Along with the assistance of Eastern Alberta District Criminal Intelligence Coordinator, General Investigation Services, Police Dog Services, Crime Reduction Unit and St. Paul Traffic Services, RCMP located and arrested two males and one female in relation to this investigation.
James Brertton, 50, and Amelia Quinney, 38, both residents of Saddle Lake, have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime less than $5000, break and enter, and mischief.
Dan McGilvery, 37, of Saddle Lake, also faces a charge of possession of stolen property obtained by crime less than $5000, as well as operation while prohibited.
Police said Brertton was released on conditions and will be appearing in St. Paul Provincial court on Dec. 15, 2022. Quinney was remanded into custody for St. Paul Provincial court on Dec. 1, 2022.
