RCMP issue aggravated assault warrant on Cold Lake man

Cold Lake RCMP have an issued a warrant after a man known to police is believed to have been involved in an assault with an axe.

On Nov. 2 just before 11:00pm, Cold Lake RCMP received this report of an assault involving an axe. 

With information released on Wednesday, police said they identified a suspect in 28-year-old Benhermin Grandbois from Cold Lake. 

Granbois was not found, police said, and a warrant was sought for his arrest. He has been charged with aggravated assault.

The Cold Lake RCMP are is seeking assistance from the public to locate Grandbois.
