Police investigate suspected arson in Bonnyville house fire

An investigation is underway into a suspected arson Thursday morning.

On Nov. 10, at 7:25 a.m., Bonnyville RCMP, along with the Regional Fire Authority, responded to a residential fire at 5212 51 St, in Bonnyville.

Police said there were no injuries as a result of this fire.

The investigation continues, however, it is believed the fire was intentionally set, RCMP said in a press release. 

Cleanup was already underway on Thursday afternoon, with road barriers on the surrounding streets.

Bonnyville RCMP are seeking witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding this fire, to contact the Bonnyville RCMP at 780-343-7200.
