LSRA donates $100K to Clayton Bellamy Foundation for the Arts

The Clayton Bellamy Foundation for the Arts is moving in the right direction thanks to large donation.

The Lakeland Sports and Recreation Association agreed to donate $100,000 towards the foundation’s project of retrofitting the old Bonnyville Centralized High School gymnasium into a performing arts theatre. 

The local foundation has been looking for fundraising dollars to get the project off the ground over the last several months.

There has been a venue gap since the old Lyle Victor Albert Centre was torn down when it comes to performing arts.

The ask has went forth to the surrounding communities as well as a centre they all could benefit from.
