On October 10, 2022, Ms. Ruth Anne Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 50 years.

She is survived by her loving children, Teresa, Tanis, Blue-Quill & Grant; grandchild, Zander; adopted son, Vaun & his 2 daughters, Nevaeh & Keirra; mother, Nancy M.; siblings, Norrine Saddleback (Terry), Michael N. & Samuel L. (Connie Hunter); auntie, Rita Steinhauer; mosom, Prosper Delver (Lillian); kokums, Charlotte Delver, Lavina Delver, Mary Ramey & Eliza Bretton; numerous family, friends & street family.  Ruth Anne was predeceased by her father, Henry P. Cardinal; maternal grandmother, Theresa Delver; paternal grandparents, Lloyd & Emma; father of Grant, Nelson McKay.

A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Thursday, October 26 & 27 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
