Cold Lake RCMP arrest man wanted on outstanding warrants

A Cold Lake man has been remanded into custody after police were able to find him on outstanding warrants.

Cold Lake RCMP were making routine patrols last Saturday morning around 9:20am, when they found a suspicious vehicle on a lease site off of Range Road 24B. 

Police said the driver was known to them and was wanted on outstanding warrants. He was also supposed to be on 24 hour house arrest.

Dylan Cowston, 23, from Cold Lake was subsequently arrested and remanded into custody, police said. 

His made his first court appearance on Wednesday.
