Two charged after stolen truck investigation: Bonnyville RCMP
A stolen truck investigation has led to charges for two people.
In the afternoon of October 5th, Bonnyville RCMP received a message from the Lac La Biche RCMP to be on the lookout for a white Dodge Ram truck that had been reported stolen to Lac La Biche earlier in the day.
RCMP said they had information that the truck may have been heading towards Bonnyville. A member of the Bonnyville RCMP located the stolen truck at a rural business near Range Road 455 and Township Road 634.
Police Dog Services was in the area and helped to make arrests.
One suspect was arrested at the onset while another suspect that had been hiding nearby gave himself up when he heard the Police Dog barking, RCMP said.
Sebastian Cardinal, 23, from Lac La Biche has been charged with Breaking & Entering stemming from the rural business in the M.D. of Bonnyville, and Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000. He was released on conditions and is set to appear in Bonnyville Court on November 1st. He faces further charges stemming from Lac La Biche.
Corey Gladue, 30, from Island Lake First Nation, Saskatchewan has been charged with Breaking & Entering the rural business in the M.D. of Bonnyville, and Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000. He was remanded in custody and will appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on October 11th. He is also facing charges out of Lac La Biche.
A third individual has been identified and the Bonnyville RCMP are seeking a warrant to arrest the 40 year old from Lac La Biche.
Police said once he is arrested he’ll be facing charges of Breaking & Entering the rural business in the M.D. of Bonnyville, Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 and Failing to Comply with a Release Order.
