In Loving Memory of Leslie Fox – Memento Funeral Chapel

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Leslie Ann Fox “Momma Bear” of Cold Lake, Alberta announces her passing on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the age of 66 years.

Leslie will be forever remembered and loved by her son: Tylor (Renatta) Fox of Cold Lake, AB; cherished grandson: Wulfric Fox of Cold Lake, AB; mother: Mildred Wiederick of Wetaskiwin, AB; brother: Gene (Lorna) Foss of Duncan, BC; best friend & sister-in-law: Cindy Dixon of Edmonton, AB; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family that held a special place in her heart.

Leslie was predeceased by her darling daughter: Kristina Fox (2015); husband: Kelvin “Kelly” Fox; father: Edward Wiederick; step-mother: Doris Wiederick; sister: Joan Wiederick.

Leslie had many things in her life that she found enjoyment from, on top of that list was spending time with her family; family meant everything to her. There was also a special place in Leslie’s heart for art; she would spend many hours building and painting bird houses with Kristina when she was a little girl, and she loved to paint. Leslie also liked to fill her time reading, and in the summer spent many hours picking blueberries. She was so full of compassion and cared deeply, which was evident by her working as a nurse before she had her children, and later in life when she became a social worker.

A Celebration of Leslie’s life will be held at a later date.
