In Loving Memory of Bertha Corinne (Frigon) Vincent – Memento Funeral Chapel

It is with sadness that the family of Bertha Vincent of Bonnyville, announce her passing on August 15, 2022, at the age of 90.

Bertha will be forever loved and remembered by her children: Suzanne (Myron Hocevar), Claire (Peter Christopherson), Bernard, Michelle (Larry Kwan) and François (Frank) (Brenda Schamber). Her grandchildren, Benjamin, Gabrielle, Jeremy and Paige, will always hold her close to their hearts. She is also survived by her sister, Cécile Poburan of Kelowna, BC.

Bertha was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Charles, in 2014. Her sisters, Marguerite Frigon, Jeanne Blais, and Joséphine (Josie) Warholik as well as many beloved in-laws have also departed before her.

Bertha loved nothing more than time with her family. She also relished a good book, an interesting documentary and listening to music.

After she raised her family, and while their health permitted, she and Charles traveled. She also dedicated many hours to her church and she enjoyed volunteering at the hospital gift shop.

Bertha was a woman of great faith and we find solace in our belief that she is in a better place.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., (Eulogy will begin at 10:20 a.m.), St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, AB with Father Rene Realuyo officiating. A live-stream of Bertha’s service will be available on our website starting at 10:15 a.m. If you are unable to watch the live-stream, a recording of the service will also be made available.

Final Resting Place, Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, AB.
